How we use cookies

Cookies and similar technologies help the website work, protect forms, understand which pages and campaigns lead to enquiries, and measure or improve advertising. Our website loads Google Analytics 4 and may use its Google Ads connection when public pages open.

Website operation and security

WordPress uses authentication and security cookies for signed-in staff. Public forms use security tokens, short-lived server rate limits and one-use submission state. Hosting and content-delivery providers may keep ordinary security and request logs. These functions protect the website and do not depend on advertising preferences.

Analytics and advertising measurement

Google Analytics uses first-party identifiers including _ga and _ga_<container-id>, normally for up to two years unless browser, user or account settings shorten that period. They distinguish browsers and sessions and can record pages viewed, device and browser information, approximate location, referring pages, campaigns and conversion signals. Google Ads linkage can use additional identifiers or signals for advertising measurement and optimisation, depending on Google account and browser settings.

We record a confirmed enquiry conversion only after the private enquiry has been stored. The allowed measurement details are the enquiry type, form location and breed slug. We also measure selected Breed Finder interactions. We do not intentionally send Finder answers, names, email addresses, messages, payment details or PPOS identifiers through these events.

External services

Pages may display or link to Google reviews, Google services, Facebook content, social networks, messaging services and delivery providers. Those providers may set or read their own technologies when their content loads or when you visit them, under their own policies.

Your controls

You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Doing so may reset measurement identifiers or affect signed-in features. You can also manage advertising personalisation in Google Ads Settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. These controls are provided by your browser or Google rather than by Perfect Pedigree.

We will update this notice if the technologies or purposes materially change. The effective date above identifies the current published version.
