Our story
Personal care and responsible standards since 2014
Ross and Anne are lifelong dog lovers who started Perfect Pedigree in 2014 and remain personally involved in the business today.
They wanted to give families a clearer and more accountable way to find a puppy in Thailand, built on trusted breeder relationships, careful preparation and honest information about the individual puppy.
Since then, the team has helped thousands of puppies join families in Thailand and overseas. That experience has strengthened our breeder relationships, our understanding of the questions families need answered and our belief that responsible service begins with the puppy’s welfare.

Our ethical commitment
Responsible sourcing begins with the breeder
We work with ethical breeders, small family breeders and breed enthusiasts whose dogs and puppies receive the care and attention they deserve.
Our puppies are not sourced from puppy farms or anonymous bulk sellers. We favour established relationships that give us meaningful context about the breeder, the puppy’s early environment and previous puppies.

We care about how a puppy is raised, the care provided during its first weeks and whether it has been given time to develop before leaving its mother.

The first eight weeks
Puppies stay with their mothers until they are ready
The first weeks of a puppy’s life are important for gradual weaning, development and learning from its mother and littermates. We do not deliver puppies before they are eight weeks old. Some puppies remain longer when their individual development or travel arrangements require it.
Our eight-week minimum reflects widely recognised animal-welfare practice, including UK dog-breeding welfare guidance and published research on early maternal separation. These sources inform our welfare standard; UK law is not presented as Thai law.

Each puppy stays with its mother until at least eight weeks old and leaves only when ready for the transition to its new family.

Before reservation, we share current photographs, videos and the available information about the individual puppy, its parents and early environment.
